Mahr Park Arboretum is a 265-acre natural destination in Madisonville, Kentucky, where visitors can experience the beauty of native trees, diverse plant life, and abundant wildlife. Generously gifted to the City of Madisonville by Dr. Merle and Glema Mahr in 2009, the park officially opened in October 2016 with a vision of connecting people to nature through recreation, education, and conservation.

Today, the park offers a wide range of recreational and educational experiences, including scenic trails, a Nature Play Area, fishing ponds, a kayak launch, dog parks, disc golf courses, picnic pavilions, and opportunities to explore and appreciate the natural world.
