Blunt mountain mint
Pycnanthemum muticum

Blunt mountain mint is a distinctive native wildflower that simply buzzes with life. Bees, butterflies, and other pollinators cover the small, white, nectar-rich flowers from mid to late summer. Blooms form in button-like clusters, surrounded by silver bracts that give plants a frosted appearance. The foliage smells strongly of spearmint. It prefers full to partial sun and grows to a mature height of 1 to 3 feet.
