Downy phlox

Downy phlox is a long blooming herbaceous perennial that spreads easily and does well in sunny locations. The flowers are showy pale pink to lavender, fragrant, and extremely attractive to butterflies. It is tolerant to dry soil but a summer mulch promotes ideal conditions for its growth. Downy phlox can grow to a mature height of 1 to 2 feet.
